Suzuki also have two motorcycle concepts and one production commuter scooter at this year's Tokyo Motor Show.
The first is the Recursion a "compact roadster" styled to strike a balance between the performance of a larger motorcycle and the easy handling and fuel economy of a middle displacement motorcycle. It is powered by a 588cc two-cylinder engine that has an intercooled turbocharger. Suzuki says this bike provides a torquey ride on winding roads.
The Suzuki Extrigger is an electric motorcycle that is easy to ride and developed to make more people realize the fun in motorcycling. The frame is similar to that of a bicycle, and is built with aluminium. It features inverted forks and disc brakes on both wheels. The name EXTRIGGER originates from EX, which stands for Electric CROSS (X) over, and TRIGGER.
The Suzuki Burgman 200cc scooter which will start selling in Japan in the following months, has also made its premiere at the Tokyo Motor Show. It features a 200cc engine and rivals scooters that are in the 250cc class offering similar comfort and functionality. The Burgman has a multi-function meter, a floorboard shaped for easy foot reach, and a low seat height.
