Will be the flagship Gixxer 155 variant.
In an interview with BikeAdvice, Suresh Babu, National Head of Marketing and Product Planning at Suzuki Motorcycle India, has revealed that the Suzuki Gixxer SF FI is planned for a launch sometime in the next fiscal year.
Unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida last month the fuel-injected version of the Gixxer SF is otherwise same as the standard Gixxer SF with a carburettor. It is powered by the 154.9 cc air-cooled single-cylinder SOHC 2-valve engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The carbureted version of the motor produces 14.8 PS at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm at 6,000 rpm.
The rest of the features on the SF FI include the same mono-halogen headlamp, fully-digital instrument console, single-tube handlebar, 12-litre fuel tank, front disc brake, single-seat, split grab handles, dual-port exhaust, alloy wheels, 100/80-17 front tyre and 140/60R-17 rear tyre (both tubeless).
