All models get a rear disc brake.
Suzuki Motorcycle India has unveiled three new versions of the Suzuki Gixxer range of motorcycles at the Auto Expo 2016. They are Suzuki Gixxer SF FI, Suzuki Gixxer SF rear disc brake and Suzuki Gixxer rear disc brake. The SF FI will be available only as the MotoGP Edition, and it will have a rear disc brake. The company hasn't launched any of these models at the Expo, and said that they will hit the market in the coming weeks.
The Japanese bike maker also introduced new dual tone colour choices for the Gixxer range, including Metallic Lush Green and Glass Sparkle for the naked Gixxer, and Candy Antares Red and Glass Sparkle Black for the Gixxer SF.
Both, the Gixxer and the Gixxer SF, along with the new variants, draw power from a single-cylinder 154.9 cc engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine produces 14.8 PS power at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. Suzuki has not revealed the power and torque specifications of the FI-equipped engine on the Gixxer SF FI.
