Suzuki will launch the Ertiga GT in Indonesia on 22 March 2019. IAB has got its hands on the prices of the new model.
Suzuki will offer the Ertiga GT in two configurations, one equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission and the other with a 4-speed automatic transmission. Both will employ the familiar K15B 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 104.7 PS at 6,000 rpm and 138 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. The Ertiga GT MT and Ertiga GT AT will cost IDR 187,000,000 (INR 9,12,080.23) and IDR 195,000,000 (INR 9,51,099.71). Do note that these are not OTR prices.
The price list reveals that Suzuki plans to introduce a new ‘GS’ grade positioned between the current range-topping grade GX and the soon-to-become range-topping grade GT. Back to the GT grade, it will flaunt stylish underbody spoilers and side skirts with a red stripe, a sporty honeycomb upper grille and lower grille in black, a body-coloured roof spoiler and a red GT badge on the tailgate. Suzuki will offer black alloy wheels optionally to further enhance the style quotient.

Interestingly, IAB has received images of a Suzuki Ertiga GX also equipped with the same alloy wheels and body kit sans the roof spoiler as the Suzuki Ertiga GT. Perhaps the plan is to offer these styling enhancements as an accessory package. We’ll have to wait until the 22nd of this month for the announcement to know the exact details.
