Performance oriented version of the Suzuki Alto JDM-spec.
Brochure scans of the Suzuki Alto Works has leaked online, courtesy of Twitter user "@ylper3756". The variant was unveiled at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show in October, and the brochure states that Suzuki will launch the model in Japan on December 24. The Alto Works will be exclusive to Japanese market.
As the body-kit suggests, the Suzuki Alto Works is the performance oriented version of the Suzuki Alto. Features include larger air dam, fog lamps, multi-spoke alloy rims, side sill extensions with side decals, red brake calipers and chrome bezels for the bug-eyed headlamps.
The interior comes with body-hugging Recaro seats, red contrast stitching, floor carpets, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a sportier instrument cluster.
The Alto Works is powered by a turbocharged three cylinder 660 cc petrol engine that churns out 51 bhp and 63 Nm of torque. It is paired to a 5-speed short-throw manual gearbox as standard, while a 5-speed Auto Gear Shift (AGS) is also offered in higher variants. Also optional is an ALLGRIP 4WD system.
