European media has said that Skoda will expand the Skoda Karoq range with the Sportline next year. Taking that into consideration, IAB’s digital artist Shoeb Kalania has created a rendering to preview the visually sporty variant.
The Skoda Karoq Sportline features the Metallic Velvet Red paint like the Skoda Kodiaq Sportline. Its radiator grille frame, roof rails and wing mirror are finished in black. The protective side trims are body-coloured, and so is the front bumper with black spoilers. Like these sporty touches, the 20-inch Vega wheels are borrowed from the Skoda Kodiaq Sportline.
Inside, the Skoda Karoq Sportline could have black Alcantara, leather and synthetic leather seats, SportLine logo on the dashboard, carbon decor on the dashboard and side doors, sport seats and door sills with ‘KAROQ’ lettering. The regular Karoq is available with five engine options: 115 PS 1.0-litre TSI petrol, 150 PS 1.5-litre TSI petrol, 115 PS 1.6-litre TDI diesel, 150 PS 2.0-litre TDI diesel and 190 PS 2.0-litre TDI diesel. Among other possible options, the Karoq Sportline should have the 190 PS 2.0-litre TDI diesel unit, along with the 7-speed DSG automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.

A possibility is that it could debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show in March. The regular Skoda Karoq has now entered production at the Kvasiny plant in the Czech Republic. Its market launch will take place at the end of October 2017.
