After setting it afloat in Delhi, Renault has launched the Duster in Mumbai today evening. Following are the prices (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and pointers revealed at the press conference.

- RxE - 7.47 lakhs
- RxL - 8.52 lakhs
Renault Duster diesel
- RxE - 8.31 lakhs
- RxL - 9.36 lakhs
- RxL option pack - 10.41 lakhs
- RxL 110 PS - 10.41 lakhs
- RxZ - 11.46 lakhs
- RxZ option pack - 11.77 lakhs
Renault Duster launch pointers
- Local content on the Duster is 60% now, the company is working to raise it to 80%
- 4,000 pre-bookings recorded until today - Highest for any Renault launch
- Duster is launched outside Europe, mainly to expand operations in Brazil, Russia and India
- 50% sales of the company currently comes from outside of Europe that is hit by an economic meltdown
- India should reach the top 10 markets for Renault by 2015
- 3 products launched on time, Duster the fourth one that has come without delay
- Fluence and Koleos launched in 2011 were brand builders
- New Fluence with a better engine was launched two months ago was after studying customer feedback
- K9K diesel engine (used on the Duster, Pulse, and arriving on the fifth product) is fully localized
- 4X4 Duster variant not planned for the Indian market
