Customers in India can order the Range Rover LWB (Long wheelbase) Autobiography Black edition, which made its global premiere in November 2013. The once range-topping model is priced at INR 3.75 crores for the diesel and INR 3.83 crores for the petrol, ex-Showroom, Mumbai, pre-Octroi.
The Autobiography Black is based on the LWB Range Rover, which was launched in India at the Auto Expo 2014. Compared to the regular Range Rover, the LWB features an extra 140 mm of rear seat legroom and power door blinds.
For the Autobiography Black, the rear seat comes in a 1+1 configuration with seats that can be reclined to 17 degrees (8 degrees more than the standard Range Rover). Further, electrically-deployable center tables with integrated USB ports and cupholders are to be found on this edition.
A larger chiller compartment, illuminated center console, additional lumbar massage for rear seat passengers along with a calf rest and a leather-wrapped parcel shelf are finer details exclusive to the cabin of the Autobiography Black.
On the outside, the Autobiography Black can be had in two new 7-spoke 21- or 22-inch wheels, and three exclusive color combinations.
