Based on the Qoros 3 Hatch, but with added space and SUV styling.
The Qoros 3 City SUV, which was unveiled at the Guangzhou Motor Show in China, is ready to be listed on the manufacturer's website on December 16, claims a new report. Based on the Qoros 3 platform (there's a Qoros 3 sedan and a Qoros 3 hatch as well), the vehicle comes with slightly muscular styling to keep up with its moniker.
According to Auto Home, the City SUV will be powered by a 1.6-litre engine, and will be made available in four different variations: two basic versions, one dynamic variant, and a top-spec Xuangdong version. It will be powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine that makes a maximum power of 156 hp at 5500 rpm and 210 Nm of max torque between 1750 and 5000 rpm. Customers will be able to spec the vehicle with either a 6-speed manual or a dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The Qoros 3 City SUV measures 4,452 mm in length, 1,854 mm in width, and 1,504 mm in height. Larger than its hatchback sibling, the SUV features an increased luggage capacity of 403 litres with the seats up, which increases to 1150 litres with the seats folded. While the list of optional features is long, the basic variants are said to kept devoid of luxuries like leather upholstery, touchscreen entertainment system, etc. in order to keep the costs low.
