The Royal Enfield Continental GT is the most affordable café racer retailing in India at present.
The modern day Royal Enfield Continental GT 535 was launched in November 2013 and is manufactured at the Oragadam manufacturing facility near Chennai. Following the implementation of GST, the company increased the price of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 535 by INR 3,759. The Royal Enfield Continental GT 535 price post-GST is INR 208,456 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Royal Enfield Continental GT 535 originally launched in Yellow and Red paint schemes making it the first Royal Enfield motorcycle to be given a yellow option. The company later in March 2015 introduced a black colour option. The yellow coloured trim was discontinued in January 2016, and a green shade was brought in.
The Royal Enfield Continental GT 535 is powered by a 535 cc air-cooled, fuel injected mill coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. Essentially a re-bored version of the 499 cc mill seen in the Bullet 500, Classic 500 and Thunderbird 500, the engine is capable of producing 29.1 bhp of maximum power at 5,100 rpm and 44 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm.

The bike gets a Brembo-sourced caliper up front and a rear suspension setup by Paioli. It tips the scales at 192 kg and has a 13.5-litre fuel tank. The Royal Enfield Continental GT 535 also gets premium Pirelli Sport Demon tyres at both ends.
