Compact European crossovers get visual additions.
The “Crossway” special edition models for the Peugeot 2008 and Peugeot 3008 crossovers have been launched at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
Changes are common to both vehicles which receive a compass motif that connotes their adventurous character. The cars will hit the French market in July.
Peugeot 2008 Crossway
The 2008 Crossway is based off the Allure trim level and gets 17-inch 'Eridan Gris Mat' alloy wheels, compass plates on the front wings, darkened rear windows, and a compass graphic at the rear.
In terms of equipment, the 2008 Crossway gets Grip Control system and navigation as standard. The cabin features black Mi-Tep leather and Alcantara upholstery with blue or red stitching, Bleu Yendi trim on the center console and door panels, as well as the backrests and floor mats with the compass logo. The 2008 Crossway also has the Peugeot LED Track ambiance lighting.
Optional extras in the car include the Park Assist system, metallic and pearl-effect paints and a radio/CD player. Engine options are the 1.6-liter VTi 120 BVM5, 1.6-liter e-HDi 92 BVM5 and 1.6-liter e-HDi 115 BVM6. The 2008 Crossway is priced from 21,550 Euros (INR 16.60 lakhs).
Peugeot 3008 Crossway
The Peugeot 3008 Crossway meanwhile has WIP Nav Plus navigation system, parking sensors, head-up display, and a visual pack. Optional extras are the Grip Control system, rear-view camera and metallic or pearl-effect paints.
The 3008 Crossway is launched with three engines: 1.6-liter HDi 115 BVM6, 1.6-liter e-HDi FAP 115 ETG6 and 2.0-liter HDi 150 BVM6. Prices start at 30,800 Euros (INR 23.72 lakhs).
