Today, TVS Motor Company launched a new variant for its commuter motorcycle, TVS Star City+ for the festive season. The new variant of the TVS Star City+ features a Grey & Black dual-tone paint, dual tone mirrors, 'Ecothrust' 110cc engine and Synchronized Braking Technology (SBT). The new variant also features the TVS chrome 3D label, a crown visor, and a black grab rail. Apart from the new Grey-Black colour, the TVS Star City+ dual tone editions are also available in Black-Red, Black-Blue and Red-Black colour options.
Mechanical specifications remain identical to the existing TVS Star City+ and the motorcycle comes equipped with a four-speed gearbox. The 110cc “Ecothrust” engine delivers 8.4 PS of maximum power @ 7,000 rpm and 8.7 Nm of peak torque @ 5,000 rpm.
TVS Motor Company’s combined braking system or linked braking system, christened Synchronized Braking Technology (SBT), activates the front and rear brake simultaneously, thus aimed to ensure safety of the rider.
The new variant is aimed to further boost the domestic sales of the two-wheeler brand during the festive season. In August 2018, TVS Motor Company registered a sales growth of 8%.
