Fuel efficiency improved by 20 percent.
Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) today revealed the all-new Suzuki Access 125 at the Auto Expo 2016. The Access 125 is powered by an all-new 125 cc engine with the SEP technology, the company said.
Features on the Honda Activa 125 rival include longest seat in class, largest underseat storage, larger floorboard, front pocket, optional DC socket and a Suzuki Easy Start System. It gets a multi-functional instrument cluster with digital display and two trip meters.
Other features include a chrome finished headlight, 3D emblem, alloy wheels and an optional front disc brake. Coming to the engine, SMIPL says that the new Access delivers 20 percent more fuel efficiency.
The single-cylinder air-cooled engine 124 cc unit develops 8.7 PS and 10.2 Nm of torque paired to a CVT system. The suspension duty is handled by a telescopic unit at the front and a swing arm at the rear.
Coming to dimensions, the new Suzuki Access 125 measures 1,870 mm in length, 655 mm in width, 1,160 mm in height and 1,265 mm in wheelbase. Along with a ground clearance of 160 mm, the new Access has a kerb weight of 102 kg.
