Based on the new UKL platform.
The new gen Mini will set foot in India today in 3- and 5-door guises. The iconic retro classic premium hatchback is available in the 5-door version for the first time in history.
The design of the new Mini is an evolution of that of the previous version. The circular elements continue to be the defining elements of the exterior and interior. However, the latest generation hot hatchback is completely different under the skin as it is underpinned by BMW's UKL modular front wheel drive platform.
The Mini 3-door is larger than its predecessor and measures 3,821 mm in length, 1,727 mm in width, and 1,414 mm in height. The more practical 5-door version is longer by 161 mm and taller by 11 mm.
