Mitsubishi has released a limited-run Black Edition model of the Mirage in Japan. The special edition city car gets changes in the styling and features.
The Mitsubishi Mirage Black Edition is available exclusively in the Black Mica single-tone paint as well as Titanium Grey Metallic/Black Mica, Wine Red Pearl/Black Mica, Red Metallic/Black Mica and White Pearl/Black Mica dual-tone colour schemes. The exterior mirrors, roof and spoiler are painted in Black Mica, and the 15-inch alloy wheels also are in black.
Special appointments to continue the sporty theme indoors include a genuine leather steering wheel with red stitching and piano black accents, genuine leather-wrapped gearshift knob with red stitching and unique red-black two-tone seat upholstery. These styling features wrap up the exclusivity of the car.
The Mitsubishi Mirage Black Edition is 3,795 mm long, 1665 mm wide and 1,505 mm tall. It offers a ground clearance of 150 mm. Under the hood is the 3A92 1.2-litre MIVEC petrol engine married to the INVECS-Ⅲ continuously variable transmission. The naturally aspirated three-cylinder engine develops 78 PS at 6,000 rpm and 100 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The fuel economy rating (JC08 test cycle) is 23.8 km/l.

The Mitsubishi Mirage Black Edition costs ¥15,06,600 (INR 9,50,833.56) when specified in the Black Mica paint and ¥15,22,800 (INR 9,61,057.58) in the dual-tone colour schemes. Sales are limited to 600 units.
