Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) has showcased the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Elite Edition at the 2018 Thai Motor Expo. The new model infuses some freshness with the current generation of the premium SUV. It has been launched in an attempt to clear the existing stock before the advent of the long-awaited facelift. The new model features a handful of exterior and interior styling updates.

The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Elite Edition is available in a dual-tone colour scheme comprising the White Pearl base paint along with Jet Black Mica finish on several sections. The special edition of the company's premium mid-size SUV features PAJERO SPORT branding on the hood, gloss black finish on the front grille, black roof wrap, and black 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels shod with 265/60-spec tires.
On the inside, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Elite Edition features brown leather upholstery made up of sun-reflective materials that help keep the cabin cool. Other highlights of the cabin include stainless steel door trim and ambient lighting. The safety net for the new model comprises 7 airbags, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with anti-roll and skid steer control (ASTC), Steering assist on a slope, Frontal collision warning system, and 360-degree camera view.
Powering the Elite Edition is the MIVEC 4N15 2.4-liter turbo-diesel motor that outputs a maximum power of 181 hp at 3,500 rpm and 430 Nm at 2,500 rpm. The motor comes mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that is capable of driving all four wheels through a Super Select 4WD-II hardware. This system provides four driving modes, including 2H, 4H, 4HLc (4WD High-range with locked transfer case), and 4LLc (4WD Low-Range with locked transfer case).

The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Elite Edition is available in two versions - 2WD and 4WD. The former is priced at 1,459,000 baht (INR 31,19,172), while the latter costs 1,574,000 baht (INR 33,65,028).
