At the 2017 Bangkok International Motor Show, MG displayed the Fastback version of the new MG6. The facelifted was introduced in the Thai market in July 2015.
The MG6 Fastback, as the name suggests, is a sloping-roof version of the conventionally-styled MG6 sedan. It measures 4,653 mm in length, 1,827 mm in width and 1,467 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,705 mm and a ground clearance of 118 mm. MG6 Fastback customers get to choose from five different configurations.
Projector headlamps with auto on/off function, 16-inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler, 6-way adjustable front seats, paddle shifters, cruise control, electric parking brake, rear parking sensors, dual-front airbags, ABS, EBD, EBA, SCS, MSR, CBC, TCS, HAS, ITPMS and DWTC (Dynamic Wheel Torque Control) are standard. Daytime running lights, projector xenon headlamps with auto on/off and auto leveler, electric sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control system, 6-way power adjustable front seats, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, reverse parking camera and auto hold are available on higher-end trim levels.

The MG6 Fastback sports the 18K4G 1.8-litre Turbo TCI turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that develops 118 kW (161 PS) at 5,500 rpm and 215 Nm of torque between 2,000 and 4,500 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The MG6 Fastback starts at 9,08,000 baht (INR 17,04,622.77).
