The Mercedes GLS range in India now includes a new Grand Edition model. The Mercedes GLS Grand Edition is the first new launch from Mercedes-Benz this fiscal.
The Mercedes GLS Grand Edition’s key highlights are black rings integrated with the Intelligent LED Light system, new 20-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels painted in Black and with a high-sheen finish and a standard Rear Seat Entertainment System with two 7-inch HD screens. The exterior looks barely any different from the regular model. However, ‘Grand Edition’ badges are present to let onlookers know that it’s a special edition model.
The Mercedes GLS Grand Edition is available in two models: GLS 350 d 4MATIC and GLS 400 4MATIC. The former employs a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine producing 190 kW (258 hp) and 620 Nm of torque. The latter uses a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine that develops 245 kW (333 hp) and 480 Nm of torque. The 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission and the 4MATIC permanent AWD system are standard.
