The base GLA 200 has a starting price of EUR 29,303.75 (INR 24.81 lakhs) and comes with front-wheel drive only. The four-wheel drive GLA 250 4MATIC has a price of EUR 37,496.9 (INR 31.75 lakhs). Mercedes-Benz GLA Edition 1
A special Launch Edition 1 will be available for a limited time period on the GLA.

As is the tradition with Mercedes-Benz, a special limited edition series called the Launch Edition 1 would be available on the GLA. The edition sees feature additions such as 19-inch AMG alloy wheels, dual exhausts, Bi-Xenon headlights, aluminium roof rails and so on.

The five-member SUV family from Mercedes-Benz now includes the GLA, GLK, ML, G and GL Classes. Even as we speak, the company is working on the next generation GLK (which will be made in left and right-hand drive configurations and hence would come to India) and a new SUV with a coupe styling to rival the BMW X6.

The GLA will be launching in India by late 2014 or in early 2015.
