Mercedes SLS AMG went insane in the tunnel when Michael Schumacher drove it on the TVC some time back and now after joining the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula Team, Lewis Hamilton is behind the wheel. However, this time it’s the hot-hatch Mercedes A 45 AMG rather than the almighty SLS.

Unfortunately, Lewis is not doing any stunt whatsoever, in fact, the driver who spends three-fourth of his calendar in fast lane is reviewing the A45 AMG with a very calm drive.
Being an important new model, A 45’s TVC is of great importance for Mercedes, and F1 world champion quoting its throttle as – "quite sensitive, like a Formula One car" is an impressive succinct statement in itself.
Under the hood is a 2.0-litre turbo beast, which develops 355hp and 450Nm. Seven-speed dual-clutch transmission sends power to all four wheels. 0-100kph is reached in 4.5 seconds with a limited top speed of 250kph. After all, the motor is claimed to be the world’s most powerful series production four cylinder engine.
However, the question that tickles is; “Is this a promotional telly commercial or it’s just Lewis gearing up for the next season all-new ‘TURBO’ F1 cars?
