To come in four grades: Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha.
A Team-BHP reader has managed to acquire the brochure of the upcoming Maruti Ignis, ahead of its launch on January 13. It reveals the variant walk-around, feature list and other technical details.
The Maruti Ignis will come in both petrol and diesel variants spread across four grades: Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. Standard noteworthy features in the base Sigma variant include body-colored door handles and bumpers, air conditioning, front power windows, dual airbags and ABS.
On top of the Sigma's feature list, Delta adds full-size wheel covers, ORVM-mounted turn indicators, dual-tone dashboard, 2-DIN audio system with Bluetooth and USB input, keyless entry, power adjustable ORVM, and rear power windows.
In addition to the Delta's features, Ignis Zeta comes with the chrome garnish surrounding the grille and headlamps, fog lamps, 15 inch alloy wheels, black-plastic moulding around the arches and side sill, 6 speakers, start stop button, power folding ORVM, rear parking sensors, a rear defogger and rear wiper.
The range-topping Alpha variant adds LED projector headlamps and DRLs, puddle lamp, Smartplay touchscreen system with Apple CarPlay, support for Suzuki remote app, automatic climate control and rear view camera.
The Maruti Ignis will launch in both petrol and diesel variants. The former is powered by a 1.2L K12B 4-cyl petrol engine producing 61 kW (83 PS) and 113 Nm of torque, while the latter packs a 1.3L 4-cyl DDiS 190 diesel engine with 55.2 kW (75 PS) and 190 Nm of torque. While a 5-speed manual is standard, a 5-speed AMT gearbox is an option in the Delta and Zeta grades of both petrol and diesel variants.
