Expected to mirror the refreshed Swift's new features.
Maruti's top-selling product, the Dzire compact sedan will get a facelift next month according to a report. Spyshots of the refreshed Dzire surfaced as early as last year indicating that India's largest car maker was indeed working on an update for its compact sedan, which despite increasing competition managed to sell over 17,000 units last month.
The refreshed Dzire is expected to wear a new chrome-finished grille, a new front bumper with chrome enclosures for the foglights, multi-spoke alloy wheels and a chrome strip for the bootlid. Apart from these cosmetic changes, Maruti is likely to increase the color palette of the car as well.
Inside, the Swift-derived sedan will benefit from added features such as a Bluetooth-enabled music system, keyless entry with push button start, electrically adjustable and folding wing mirrors and a Call answer/end buttons on the steering wheel.
