The Ciaz launches in 4 variants each for petrol and diesel.
Maruti-Suzuki is releasing the initial advertisement campaigns for the upcoming Ciaz, which goes on sale by mid-October. One such advertisement lists out the features that will be seen on the top-end ZXi+/ZDi+ variant of the car.
On the outside, the Ciaz comes with a chrome grille, projector headlights, 16-inch 16-spoke alloy wheels, electrically foldable wing mirrors with integrated turn indicators, electric boot release, keyless entry and chrome door handles. Maruti also claims that the Ciaz offers class-leading aerodynamic performance.
On the inside, the sedan gets footwell lights, steering mounted controls, engine starter button, Maruti's SmartPlay system with a 7-inch display with integrated navigation, automatic day/night interior rear view mirror, leather upholstery, automatic AC with rear AC vents, rear sunshade, reverse camera and parking sensors and front and rear armrests.

The Ciaz is strapped with a 1.4-liter petrol engine and a 1.3-liter diesel engine, with the former getting an optional torque converter (automatic transmission). Both engines are carried over from the Ertiga, and are driven via a five-speed manual transmission. Pre-launch bookings for the Ciaz started yesterday.
