The Maruti Baleno petrol CVT variant is now available in the higher Zeta grade, and is priced at INR 7.47 Lakhs (Ex-showroom Delhi). The CVT option was only available in Delta grade, which had limited number of features equipped.
The Baleno CVT is powered by the 1.2-liter K-Series petrol engine that produces 84 PS and 114 Nm of torque, which is sent to the front wheels via a CVT. It is capable of averaging an ARAI-certified fuel mileage of 21.4 km/L. In other grades, a 5-speed manual gearbox is fitted as standard.
With the Zeta grade, the Baleno CVT comes with a longer feature list which includes chrome door handles, alloy wheels, UV cut glass, glove box illumination, luggage room illumination, front foot well illumination, multi-information speedometer display, leather-wrapped steering wheel, foglamps, auto headlamps, auto dimming IRVM, telescopic steering, follow me home headlamps, front center arm rest with storage, height adjustable driver seat, push button start / stop with smart key.

So far, Maruti has received over 100,000 pre-orders for the Maruti Baleno, and there is a 6 month waiting period for new customers. To further widen the appeal, Maruti will introduce the Baleno RS during the festive season period this year, which packs a 1.0-liter three-cylinder Boosterjet turbocharged petrol engine.
