Will come in two variants.
According to a report on Autocar India, the Mahindra XUV500 Xclusive edition will be available in two variants and is priced at INR 14.49 lakhs for the variant without powered driver's seat, and at INR 14.65 lakhs for the variant with the powered driver's seat. All prices are ex-Showroom, New Delhi.
The report states that the Xlusive edition is based on the front wheel drive W8 variant of the SUV. Features such as an electric sunroof, electrically adjustable driver's seat, hydraulically assisted bonnet, a reversing camera, gray alloy wheels and internet connectivity for the infotainment system have been incorporated.
There are no changes to the mechanicals of the SUV. It continues to be powered by the 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine which is capable of producing 140 bhp and 330 Nm of torque, and is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission.
The earlier report stated that the sunroof is borrowed from the Ssangyong Rexton, while the hydraulic forks for the bonnet are taken from the new Scorpio.
On the bootlid, this variant gets the 'Xclusive' badge, while the Mahindra and XUV500 badges have been moved upwards slightly. The Xclusive edition will reportedly be available in limited numbers, and a formal launch is expected anytime now.
