Mahindra XUV300 AMT launched in India, priced from INR 11.50 lakh

Mahindra has launched an AMT option in the XUV300 in India at an additional cost of INR 55,000, and offers it in only the W8 grade w/o the option pack. Effectively, the XUV300 AMT costs INR 11.50 lakh* in the W8 grade and INR 12.70 lakh* in the W8 grade with the option pack.

The AMT offered in the Mahindra XUV300 is a 6-speed unit sourced from Marelli. It is offered only with the 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 115 PS of maximum power and 300 Nm of peak torque.

Commenting on the launch of the XUV300 AMT, Veejay Ram Nakra, Chief of Sales and Marketing, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd. said, “At Mahindra, it has been our constant endeavour to offer advanced and accessible technologies to all our customers and we are delighted to introduce the autoSHIFT in the XUV300 for that perfect blend of effortless driving and exhilarating performance.”

In terms of exteriors, the XUV300 features projector headlamps with LED DRLs, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED tail lights and dual-tone roof rails. While its cabin comfort and convenience will be handled by features such as electric sunroof, leatherette upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control and 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with GPS navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

In terms of safety features, the XUV300 comes kitted with Vehicle Creep function, ESC (electronic stability control), Kick-down Shifts, Down-hill Mode & Smart Steering Modes. Apart from that its safety kit also includes 7 airbags, four disc brakes, front parking sensors and ESP with Roll-over Mitigation.

The Mahindra XUV300 AMT is available in three colours: Pearl White, Aquamarine and Red Rage.
