Expected to launch on October 16.
Autocar India has a report confirming the technical specifications of the soon to launch Mahindra Mojo.
The motorcycle will be powered by a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder 292 cc engine capable of 27 bhp and 3 kgm (29.4 Nm) of torque, paired to a 6-speed transmission. The report states that the Mojo would have a top-speed of 165 km/h, with fuel efficiency in the range of 30-35 km/l. The on-board computer restricts the engine to 5,000 rpm should the bike overheat.
For braking, the Mojo will rely on a 320 mm disc up front and a 240 mm disc at the rear. The Mojo will be shod with 17-inch Pirelli Diablo Rosso tyres as standard. For suspension, the Mojo uses upside down forks up front and a swingarm monoshock at the rear.
Other features confirmed on the motorcycle include a 21 liter fuel tank, one-into-two dual exhausts, a lap timer on the instrument cluster, LED pilot lights, a part digital cluster and a choice of three colors.
Dealerships have already started accepting bookings for the Mojo for a sum of INR 10,000, with reports claiming an ex-Showroom price of INR 1.8 lakhs in Mumbai.
