Ahead of the brand's official launch in the country, parent company Toyota, through it dealer this week held a customer preview in Kerala for Lexus models coming to India. Our reader, who wished to stay anonymous, has shared a picture from this event where the Lexus RC F was showcased, confirming the company's interest in bringing the sportscar to India.
The Lexus RC F is the range-topping Lexus RC variant aimed at those looking for high performance and spirited driving. The RC F measures 4,705 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width and 1,390 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,730 mm. It's powered by the 2UR-GSE 5.0-litre VVT-i naturally aspirated V8 petrol engine that develops 351 kW (477 PS) at 7,100 rpm and 530 Nm of torque at 4,800-5,000 rpm.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via the 8-speed Sport Direct Shift automatic transmission. The RC F can reach 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds and touch a top speed of 270 km/h. The car in the image is the top-spec 'Carbon' model which comes with carbon fibre bonnet, carbon fibre roof and carbon-fibre rear wing, and carbon fibre embellishment inside.

The Lexus RC F will be imported in CBU form from Tahara, Japan and is expected to be priced around INR 3 crore in India.
