Is the forerunner to the RC convertible
The Lexus LF-C2 concept has premiered at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. Previewing the future design direction of the company, the LF-C2 is a 2+2 seater featuring the signature spindle grille, LED headlamps, aerodynamic wing mirrors and brake cooling fins. Other exterior highlights are its rear diffuser, L-Shaped taillight bulbs, chrome quad exhaust tips, and 20-inch five-spoke wheels.
The RC Coupe has donated its cabin to the concept and it sees a full-length center console, a remote touchpad, analog clock and new touchscreen controls. A dual-tone white and gray leather upholstery, coloured trim and LED ambient lights sum up the cabin changes. Lexus says the concept does not have any kind of covering for the top.
Though Lexus didn't delve on the details of what is under the skin, chances are that it borrows the RC-F's 5.0-liter V8 engine that makes 467 bhp and 526 Nm of torque.
Lexus says the concept is "a luxury Grand Touring concept inspired by the brand’s passion for driving."
