Lexus showcases hybrid models of its entry-level and flagship sedans.
Lexus is displaying the Lexus IS 300h and Lexus LS 600hL at the 2016 Thai Motor Expo. Here are the images of the entry-level Lexus sedan and range-topping Lexus sedan from the show.
Lexus IS 300h
The Lexus IS 300h packs a hybrid powertrain, combining the AR-FSE 2.5-litre Dual VVT-i petrol engine that produces 181 PS at 6,000 rpm and 221 Nm of torque at 4,200-5,400 rpm with a 650-volt electric motor which generates 105 kW (143 PS) and 300 Nm of torque. The hybrid system offers a maximum output of 164 kW (223 PS).
Noteworthy features of the Lexus IS 300h include LED headlamps, daytime running lights, 8-way electrically adjustable front seats with lumbar support, 4.2-inch MID unit, 7-inch infotainment system with navigation and 8-speaker Lexus Premium Audio System.
Lexus LS 600hL
The Lexus LS 600hL's powertrain consists of the 394 hp 2UR-FSE 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine mated to two electric motor/generators, and develops a net output of 445 hp. The flagship saloon is feature-rich, equipped with LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, power front and rear seats, 12.3-inch infotainment system with navigation, Mark Levinson Reference surround sound system, rear-seat entertainment system with 9-inch display and DVD/Blu-Ray input and more.
