Inspired by jets of the aeronautical world.
Lamborghini has launched the Huracan Avio limited edition in India at INR 3.71 crores (ex-showroom). Only 250 examples will be built for global markets, and Lamborghini is giving Indian customers a 5-day window to book one.
The Huracan Avio is inspired by powerful jets of the aeronautical world and pays tribute to the Italian Air Force. Unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the only exclusive changes are contrasting stripes running across the body, and white or gray finish on the lower portion of the mirrors, side sills, and front lip spoiler. It is available in five exclusive colors, of which one has a pearlescent finish while the rest are matte finish paint jobs.
Inside, the seats are upholstered with a combination of black leather and hexagonal-pattern Alcantara upholstery with contrast white stitching, “L-63” embroidery on the seats and a hand-enameled plate on the driver’s side window.
The Huracan Avio doesn't receive mechanical upgrades. It is powered by the regular Huracan's 5.2-liter V10 engine that develops 610 PS (601.4 bhp) and 560 Nm of torque. A 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox sends power to the wheels via an AWD system. The Huracan is capable of sprinting from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 9.9 seconds, before hitting a top-speed of 325 km/h.
