Kia Seltos launched in India, priced from INR 9.69 lakh

Kia has launched the Seltos in India, with prices ranging from INR 9.69 lakh-15.99 lakh*. The Hyundai Creta, for reference, is priced from INR 9.60-15.67 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Kia Seltos is made available in two styles - Tech Line and GT Line. E, K, K+, X and X+ are the equipment lines in the Tech Line, while GT Line has K, X and X+ as the equipment lines. Kia has revealed today that it has garnered over 35,000 bookings for the Seltos till date.

On the outside, the Kia Seltos comes with Crown Jewel LED headlamps with Heartbeat DRLs, ice-cube LED front fog lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, red brake callipers and LED tail lamps. In terms of comfort and convenience features, Kia's premium B-SUV comes kitted with electric sunroof, 2-step reclining rear seats, ventilated front seats along with power adjustment for the driver seat, 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, embedded navigation, split-screen function and UVO connected vehicle technologies, 7-inch driver information display and 8-inch head-up display which is first for its segment.

In terms of safety, the top-of-the-line Kia Seltos offers 360-degree camera, six airbags, ABS, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill-start assist, front and rear parking sensors and a blind-spot view monitor.

Kia's network in India includes 265 touchpoints spread across 160 cities. The company offers a 3-year/unlimited kms warranty with an optional 2-year extension plan on the Seltos. The deliveries of the Seltos will soon commence. The company had received over 35,000 pre-orders for its first model in our market.

The Kia Seltos locks horns with the likes of Hyundai Creta and Nissan Kicks. In addition, it faces heat from attractively priced C-SUVs MG Hector and Tata Harrier as well.
