Kawasaki’s entry-level classic motorcycles, the Kawasaki W175, and the W175 SE have been launched in Indonesia.
Kawasaki markets the W175 with the theme ‘Absolute Respect’, aims to appeal enthusiasts looking for a retro motorcycle. The bike features a circular headlamp with chrome bezel, and an analogue speedometer. The handlebars, footpegs and the cushioned single piece seat offer optimal ergonomics. The pea-shooter exhaust imitates the classic British motorcycles of the 1950’s. The fuel tank can hold 13.5 litres of juice, and the motorcycle weighs 126 kg.

Powering the Kawasaki W175 is 177cc single cylinder engine with air cooling and carburetion. The power plant makes 13 PS of power at 7,500 rpm, and 13.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. Putting the power down the rear wheel is a 5-speed transmission. The engine also features an electric starter.

Telescopic front fork with gaiters, and dual rear shock absorbers hold the cradle frame. The 17-inch spoke wheels are shod with 80-section front and 100-section rear tyres. Brakes include a single 220 mm front disc, and a 110 mm rear drum.
The standard version is available in Pearl Crystal White colour, and costs IDR 29,800,000 (INR 1.42 Lakhs). The Special Edition (SE) version comes with authentic colours and graphics as well as additional accessories for a classier image. The SE version is available in Metallic Spark Black; Metallic Matte Covert Green, and New Silver. The SE variant costs IDR 30,800,000 (INR 1.47 lakhs).
