The Japanese brand has positioned the bike as a sports tourer. It will be the third iteration of Kawasaki’s supercharged family. The first two are the Ninja H2 and the track-only H2R. While the teaser hasn’t revealed much, it is likely that the bike is a sports touring version of the Kawasaki Ninja H2.

Kawasaki says the bike will have good low- mid range torque, thanks to the supercharger technology. The bike will also be more frugal, when it comes to fuel consumption and the overall riding experience is directed towards the sport touring market. In May 2016, the company was reportedly testing the touring version of the H2, with the moniker Kawasaki Ninja H2 GT. The Ninja H2 features a 998cc in-line four DOHC engine with supercharger. It generates 200 PS of power at 11,000 rpm and 210 PS with Ram Air. Torque figure stands at 133.5 Nm at 10,500 rpm. The powerplant matches with a 6-speed transmission.
The bike features fully adjustable suspension in the form of 43 mm inverted front fork; and a rear Uni-Trak gas-charged monoshock. Dual 330 mm Brembo discs at the front and a single 250 mm rear disc bring the bike to a halt. Electronics include IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control) and KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-Lock Braking System). Expect more details of the upcoming sports tourer at the show.
