The Kawasaki KLX 110 has been introduced in the Indian market at INR 2.8 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pune). It is an entry-level off-roader suitable for very young and budding dirt bikers, and is not road legal.
The KLX 110 is powered by a 112 cc air-cooled single-cylinder carbureted engine with SOHC, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The motor is equipped with an automatic clutch that ensures a stall-free shifting. They are mounted on a steel backbone frame that is suspended by a 30 mm telescopic fork and a monoshock with 4.3 inch travel on both. Braking is done by drum type units in the front and rear wheel. The tyres are of sizes 2.50x14 and 3.00x12 on the front and rear respectively.
The motorcycle measures 61.4 inches (1,560 mm) in length, 25.6 inches (650 mm) in width, 37.6 inches (955 mm) in height, 8.5 inches (216 mm) in ground clearance, 26.8 inches (681 mm) in seat height and 42.3 inches (1,074 mm) in wheelbase. Its kerb weight is 76 kg and the fuel tank capacity is 3.8 litres.
