JLR India has announced that they will launch the all new Land Rover Discovery Sport in India on September 2. Bookings have already opened for newest Land Rover, and will be launched as a CKD model right from launch, with assembly taking place at JLR's facility in Pune.
In their website, Land Rover have listed the variants and feature list of the India-spec model, which reveals that the Land Rover Discovery Sport will be available in four variants : S, SE, HSE and HSE Luxury. Below are the standard features equipped in each variant. Note that higher up the range, the next variant features additional equipment over the previous variant.

Under the hood, the Land Rover Discovery Sport is powered by the older 2.2-liter SD4 diesel engine, which is available in two power states: 147 bhp and 187 bhp. It is paired to a 9-speed automatic transmission as standard, and is equipped with a full-time 4WD system with Terrain Response.
