Hyundai commenced production of the Verna facelift in China this week. Here are more images of the updated Verna from China.
Designers have updated the front fascia of the sedan with a set of new headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights and projector headlamps on the top-end variant.
The grille has also been tweaked as are the foglight enclosures located on the bumper. A set of new alloy wheels complete the major talking points of the Verna facelift. Apart from differently designed bumper reflectors, there are no changes towards the rear of the car.
Inside, Hyundai has not bothered to change or alter anything. For China though, the refreshed Verna gets a headlight leveling adjustment dial, a feature which is present in all cars sold in India.
Dimensionally, the Verna facelift is longer by 5 mm thanks to the redesigned front bumper. The car now measures 4,375 mm in length, 1,700 mm in width, 1,460 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,570 mm.
The Verna in India has received a set of minor updates to keep up with competition coming from the new City. The top-end variant comes with LED daytime running lights, projector headlights and diamond-cut alloy wheels. Will India also get this facelift though?
