Powered by a 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engine.
Hyundai has showcased the Santa Cruz Crossover Truck concept at the 2015 NAIAS (2015 Detroit Auto Show), previewing a truck that appeals to the 'trending Urban Adventurer lifestyles'.
The front fascia is characterized by a hexagonal grille, dual lens-free projector headlights, LED foglights and tow hooks. The side profile features oversized wheels with Michelin tires featuring a special tread design and yellow Brembo brake calipers.
For easy access to the rear seats, the Santa Cruz gets rear-hinged rear doors. The loading bed of the Santa Cruz can be extended with a tailgate extension, and once done, the truck offers as much room as a mid-size pickup. A rigid tonneau cover, which retracts when not needed, keeps items out of sight.
Power for the Santa Cruz concept comes from a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine capable of 190 bhp and 406 Nm of torque. The drive is sent to all wheels via Hyundai's HTRAC all wheel drive system.
