Prices of all Hyundai models have come down.
A week after the implementation of GST, Hyundai India has finally announced a price drop across its range. Prices have come down by up to 5.9% depending on the model.
In price reduction, one of the big beneficiaries is the Tucson, which is now cheaper by Rs. 1.12 Lakh. The decrease in prices of the Grand i10 varies from Rs. 2,660 to Rs. 6,000 depending on the trim. In the case of the 2017 Hyundai Xcent, there is a price reduction of up to almost Rs. 8,000 for the SX(O) petrol trim.
Prices of the Elite i20 have come down by up to Rs.13,000, while the i20 Active is cheaper by up to Rs. 24,000.
Moving to the Verna and Elantra sedans, the price drop ranges from Rs. 27,000 to Rs. 70,000. The biggest gainers have been SUVs - Creta, Tucson and Santa Fe - which have gotten cheaper by Rs. 1 lakh to 2.5 lakh. The top of line SX+ 1.6 L Diesel AT variant costs Rs. 64,000 less while starting price of the Hyundai Creta has come down by around Rs. 37,000.
