HMSI has slightly raised the prices of its newest offering, the Honda X-Blade. Rates are increased by INR 559, and the bike now retails at INR 79,059 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Honda X-Blade, having premiered at the Auto Expo 2018, sits between the Honda CB Unicorn 160 and the Hornet 160R. The X-Blade came into showrooms in March 2018.
The company has also commenced a new promotional campaign – ‘One Look is Enough’ for the X-Blade. The TVC highlights the Robo-face LED headlamps, which draws a clear line between a responsible citizen and an outlaw. The TVC telecast is underway with special promotions during the FIFA World Cup 2018.
The Honda X-Blade gets innovative segment-first features like LED headlamps, digital instrument cluster and LED taillights. The instrument cluster receives a gear position and service due indicator. The bike also gets a hazard light switch.
The Honda X-Blade is propelled by a 162.71 cc, air-cooled engine that is capable of producing 13.93 bhp of maximum power at 8500 rpm and 13.9 Nm of peak torque at 6000 rpm. This engine sends power to the rear wheel via a 5-speed transmission.

Dimensionally, the Honda X-Blade gets a wheelbase of 1347 mm along with a ground clearance of 160 mm. Fuel tank capacity is 12-litres while the bike weighs at 140 kg. The bike is available with a total of five colour options - Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Pearl Spartan Red, Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Frozen Silver and Matte Marshal Green Metallic. The Honda X-Blade competes against the TVS Apache RTR 160, Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and the Yamaha FZ-S.
