Will rival the actual Honda City in China among other vehicles.
Dongfeng-Honda, one of the joint venture partners of Honda in China, have released a new gallery of the Honda Greiz, which is nothing but a redesigned Honda City, which will be sold exclusively in China.
The Greiz will be manufactured and sold by Dongfeng-Honda, and it will go up against the actual Honda City, which in China is made by the Guangzhou Honda joint venture. However, Chinese media reports state that the Greiz will cost a premium over the City.
On the outside, the Greiz gets a different front fascia with a new wing-shape chrome grille, Honda Spirior inspired headlights with projector headlights and LED daytime running lights. Towards the rear, designers have given the sedan LED taillights with a C-shaped motif, a redesigned trunk with an integrated spoiler and a chrome strip.
However, once inside, there are no changes to the Greiz, which sports an identical cabin to the City. Dongfeng Honda have retained the Blue-illuminated instrument console, the three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, the touch panel for the automatic climate control and the central touchscreen music system.
There are no changes underneath the hood, which will continue to support a 1.5-liter i-VTEC petrol engine capable of 131 hp, mated to a CVT.
