The all-new fourth-generation Honda City has been launched in Australia. Imported from the Thai plant, the City comes in four variants in manual and automatic transmission options.
The launch pricing of the new City sees it starting at AUD 500 (INR 28,323) cheaper than the model it is replacing. All variants are powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine that develops 118 hp @ 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm @ 4,600 rpm. The average fuel consumption is rated at 17.54 kmpl, which is 14 percent better than the outgoing model.
The City retains its length but cabin space benefits from a 50 mm wheelbase extension. Boot space stands at a class-topping 536 liters.

All variants are fitted with a reverse-guide camera, touch-screen infotainment system with Siri Eyes Free voice control function.
The top-end variant is offered with the Modulo body kit that lends it front and rear under spoiler, sportier grille, side skirt and rear spoiler.
