Is the naked version of the CBR150R.
P.T. Astra Honda Motor has launched the new Honda CB150R StreetFire in Indonesia. The naked version of the CBR150R has been priced at Rp 25.4 million (around INR 1.2 lakh).
The 2016 version of the bike has received a more muscular and aggressive design, keeping with its street fighter image. Changes begin at the front with high-positioned handlebars as well as side blinkers that are now LED units. The headlight has been split in the middle by a silver-finished strip and overall sports a more angular and edgy design, which complements the bigger fairing perfectly.
The 12-liter tank now wears a bigger shroud with a continuous seat for better comfort. The rear gets revisions in the form of LED indicators and tail lights. The grab rail has been made more contemporary by ditching the single piece unit for a split setup.
The digital instrument cluster is now an integrated unit that houses the tachometer, speedometer, odometer and also the fuel gauge. Above the cluster are the indicator lights.
Nestled within the same diamond frame is a 150cc, four-stroke, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine capable of producing 16.7 bhp and 14 Nm of torque. Power is relayed to the wheels through a 6-speed transmission. Providing stopping power are Nissin dual-piston calipers at the front and a single-piston caliper at the rear. Telescopic forks and single swing arm suspension will do the job of tackling corners and undulations.
Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India (HMSI) presently has no plans of launching the CB150R. It recently concluded the RevFest in which it showcased four bikes including the CB Hornet 160R, and launched the CBR650F.
