Could be the most fuel efficient Hero Motocorp product.
Hero Motocorp will launch the Hero Splendor iSmart 110 in New Delhi today. The bike made its debut at the 2016 Auto Expo and is the first bike to be fully developed by the country's largest motorcycle manufacturer from the ground-up.
The Splendor iSmart 110 uses a 110 cc single-cylinder, air cooled engine that develops 9.1 PS (8.97 hp) of power at 7,500 rpm and 9 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Like the 97 cc iSmart system equipped engine found in the standard Hero Splendor, the new bike also makes use of a 4-speed gearbox. The iSmart system in the bike gives it a start/stop system that shuts the engine off when it idles and is immediately started once the rider engages the clutch. This, the company claims, improves the fuel efficiency.

The bike displayed at the 2016 Auto Expo and one seen in dealerships sports a telescopic suspension at both ends and is equipped with drum brakes on both wheels. Both the front and the rear tyres are mounted on 5-spoke all-black alloy wheels.
