The automatic scooter is yet to go on sale in India.
The Hero Dash 110 cc automatic scooter which was unveiled in India earlier this year has been showcased at the 2014 Colombo International Motor Show in Sri Lanka.
The automatic scooter features an edgy styling which is complemented by 12-inch black alloy wheels. The design highlights include a prominent headlamp, a shield-like front apron with air intakes, wing mirrors and instrument console with silver inserts, contoured engine cover, wide rear combination lamps and a sporty silencer end can.
In addition to the 12-inch alloy wheels which are larger than most rivals, the Dash also gets tubeless tyres, an external fuel filler lid and service due indicator. The rest of the Dash is a regular scooter affair.
The 110 cc air-cooled engine is capable of 8.4 PS (8.28 bhp) and 9.4 Nm of peak torque. The motor is mated to a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).
The Hero Dash is expected to go on sale in India by the end of the festive season and is expected to be shipped to Sri Lanka in a few months' time. The gearless two-wheeler will be positioned to target male audience.
