Three new products to arrive next year.
Speaking to Reuters, Ford India's president, Nigel Harris, said that the company will launch four all-new products in the country within 18 - 20 months.
The official declined to identify the cars, though company sources tell Indian Autos Blog that a replacement for the Figo, a sub-4 meter sedan, the next gen Endeavour and a new MPV, are the products that will launch. The first three products are set to arrive next year, after April, sources say.
The replacement for the Figo is the new Ford Ka which went on sale in Brazil recently. The hatchback, and a sub-4 meter sedan based on it, will be made at the company's new plant in Sanand, Gujarat. The new Endeavour would be brought into the country via the CKD route, and its assembly will be at the Chennai plant.
