The Escorts Farmtrac 6050 4x4 tractor, the European version of the Heritage tractor series, has been showcased at the AgroTech expo, a biennial agro technology and business fair which is taking place at Chandigarh.
The Heritage Tractor series made its global premiere last year at the Agritechnica, the world’s biggest exhibition for agricultural machinery and equipment, at Hanover, Germany. The world class farm equipment targets the wealthy and progressive farmers of Punjab.
The leading tractor manufacturer says that the Farmtrac 6050 4x4 is designed for haulage operations in extreme conditions with extra power and comfort. The farm equipment is developed in collaboration with Escort's Polish subsidiary.
The example showcased at AgroTech is the non-cabin version suited for the Indian market. With the power distributed to all four wheels, the tractor is claimed to offer improved productivity and safety and is suitable for all kind of agricultural and commercial haulage and multiple hard soil farm application.
