Datsun have announced that they sold 4,297 cars in June, and close to 3,000 units of the redi-GO were sold in 23 days since it was launched.
Speaking on Datsun's sales performance in June, Arun Malhotra, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India said:
In just 23 days since its launch, close to 3000 units of redi-GO have been sold. These are exciting times for Datsun and we look forward to delivering more cars to our customers.
Priced from INR 2.39 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Datsun redi-GO is one of the least expensive vehicles in the Indian market, which is based on the CMF platform of the successful Renault Kwid. The redi-GO measures 3,429 mm long, 1,560 mm wide, 1,541 mm high, has a wheelbase of 2,348 mm, and boasts of a best-in-class ground clearance of 185 mm.

The top-end ‘S’ grade (priced from INR 3,34,399, ex-showroom) comes equipped with LED daytime running lights, front power windows, power steering, a music system with radio/CD/USB/AUX input and a driver's airbag. Note that the single airbag is not offered as an option in lower trim levels.
