Launches on Jan 15.
Nissan India has started accepting bookings for the Datsun Go+ compact MPV. Prospective customers can book the car at Nissan dealerships between January 03 to January 14 for a refundable amount of INR 11,000. The car has its market launch scheduled for January 15.
To recap, the Go+ is the second product from the Datsun stable, and is based on the same platform as the Go hatchback. Measuring at 3,995 mm in length, 1,635 mm in width, 1,490 mm in height and 2,450 mm in wheelbase, the Go+ is a 5+2 seater. With all seats in place, the Go+ can accommodate 48 liters of luggage, whereas with the third row folded, the boot space is a substantial 347 liters.
Power for the car comes from the same 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol engine seen on the Micra. A diesel engine is not offered at the moment. The petrol unit is good for 68 PS (67 bhp) and 104 Nm of torque, and is matched to a 5-speed manual transmission. Nissan claims a fuel efficiency of 20.62 km/l.

At the time of launch, the Go+ will be sold in four variants, but it is the top-end variant which gets even basic features like power steering or AC. In addition, the top-end comes with front power windows, central locking, a mobile docking station and speakers. No safety features are provided though.
