Debuts at IIMS 2014 (Indonesia) next week.
The Daihatsu UFC-3 Concept is all set to make its world premiere at the IIMS 2014 which opens on September 18. The UFC-3 concept is a step closer to production than the UFC-2 and previews the successors to the Toyota Avanza and the badge-engineered Daihatsu Xenia.
The UFC-3 Concept is nothing but a simplified UFC-2 that was shown last year. The main difference comes from the larger headlamps and a single chrome slat grille. The hexagonal secondary airdam is similar to that of the older concept but the bumpers and foglamps are reprofiled.
In profile, the UFC-3 stays true to its predecessor with a modern and compact stance. The rear of the concept is not visible but the combination lights have enlarged. The compact MPV can seat seven passengers.

The technical details of the new people carrier will be revealed at its world premiere next week. A top official of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor Indonesia has reportedly told the local media that the UFC-3 is still at a concept stage.
The launch time frame has not been discussed, but the wide acceptance for the wild cards Honda Mobilio and the Suzuki Ertiga in the archipelago would have given Toyota the jitters.
